Designed for real everyday listening.

SoundBridge Radio was created from a simple need: listening to reliable radio streams on modern and older audio systems without jumping between multiple apps, complex menus or catalogues full of dead links.

Main features

Everything needed to listen better and more easily.

Curated radio catalogue

SoundBridge uses public internet radio streams with a cleaned selection to reduce dead links, unstable streams and low-quality sources.

Countries and favourites

Find stations by country, language or name. Keep favourites and recent stations for faster access.

Clear audio output

The app highlights the active output and helps switch between iPhone, AirPlay, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Sonos, Bose SoundTouch or Google Cast.

Precise volume control

Main volume can use Vol − and Vol + buttons with a visible percentage, avoiding imprecise sliders on iPhone.

Sonos Wi-Fi playback

SoundBridge can send radio streams directly to compatible Sonos speakers on the local network.

Bose SoundTouch Rescue

For some Bose SoundTouch systems, the app helps wake or resume a speaker over the local network.

AirPlay and multi-output

Use the iOS AirPlay picker to route sound to one or more compatible speakers, TVs or home cinema systems.

Google Cast in progress

SoundBridge also explores Google Cast devices, including some TVs and speakers, to expand Wi-Fi playback options.

Phone call recovery

During an incoming call, radio can stop cleanly and resume after the conversation.

Compatibility

A bridge across several audio worlds.

iPhone / iOSRadio playback, favourites, control and system audio routing.
AirPlaySpeakers, TVs, home cinema and AirPlay-compatible outputs.
Bose SoundTouchLocal discovery, recovery and network commands depending on model and state.
SonosDirect Wi-Fi playback tested on compatible speakers.
Google CastDiscovery and playback being improved depending on devices.

JBL AuthenticsPlayback possible through AirPlay on compatible models.
Smart TVsPossible through AirPlay, Google Cast or network modes depending on model.

How it works

Three simple steps.

1

Choose a station

Browse the catalogue, filter by country or open a favourite.

2

Choose an output

Use the iPhone, AirPlay or a compatible Wi-Fi mode.

3

Listen and adjust

Control pause, resume, volume and station changes from a simple interface.

Why SoundBridge?

Because many speakers still sound excellent.

Many audio systems still sound great but gradually lose integrated services, radio catalogues or ease of use. SoundBridge aims to extend their useful life through existing legal playback modes.

The goal is not to replace manufacturers or modify devices, but to provide a practical bridge between iPhone, public radio streams and existing audio hardware.
